I didn’t manage to finish Ghost Garden yesterday, but I did write a whole new 1k short that I sent in its place. The ghost garden concept is just a little too large to stay under 1.4k. This morning was spent reading for tonight’s critiques and researching for the novel. I’m getting a lot of great research contacts for this one.
I’ve settled into a pretty good work flow system. I’m using it for both work and my writing in a greater attempt to approach my writing in the same way I approach my work. I have very little trouble finishing my assignments for work. That always seems easy. But I’ll get a story written and at some point in its development I sort of let it go. That means very few things get sent out the door. Well, I’m kind of tired of that.
Starting this week, I’m going on a revision and send quest. I want to get at least 10 stories in the mail before September.

As I know from experience a lot of LJ peeps don’t read anything outside of the system, so it’s useful to have a feed to which you can point them.
