I worked more on the Tattoo story last night. I feel I have a fleshed out main character. Vague ideas for potential scenes flood my head at the moment. Tonight after dinner with my daughter I’ll put some of these on paper to see how well they materialize. I haven’t written anything this short in a while. As usual, it keeps wanting to grow. It’s not a short story. There are more than six scenes. That’s always a good indication to me that it’s going to be something longer. It’s not quite novel long though. I don’t think it’s strong enough for that.

For some strange reason Amy Winehouse’s music has been a strong part of this piece’s development.
