Yes, I’ve moved over to the dark side. I’ve created a WordPress blog. My new blogging home will be at shawn-scarber.com. I haven’t done much with it, but will be throughout the month. At the moment I’m working my way through Ben Nyber’s “One Great Way to Write Short Fiction”. I’m actually trying to follow all of the exercises and everything. That’s unlike me, I generally just read these things and skip ahead to what I think is necessary. However, I’m finding out new things about myself as a writer and I’m just on the second exercise, so needless to say, I’ll be following this one all the way through. I read an article by Bruce Holland Rogers, and he mentioned the book, so it went to the top of my list quickly. Being prolific is a new goal. I’d like to publish more than one short story every couple of years. I’m hoping this and a few other things I’m doing will help facilitate that goal.
